HSE inspections shed light on South Yorkshire health and safety issues
As Health and Safety Executive (HSE) inspections draw to a close, HSE inspectors have shed light on health and safety issues in South Yorkshire.
22 HSE inspectors visited 71 businesses in South Yorkshire – 65% of these were found to be in breach of health and safety law. HSE inspectors have taken action by serving 3 prohibition notices, 31 improvement notices and a further 23 companies have been written to.
